The current development of artificial intelligence has entered the era of large models, and accelerating its application in industries such as energy and chemical engineering is very important and urgent. As an important state-owned backbone enterprise and an international energy and chemical company, China Petroleum's development of artificial intelligence is an important strategic lever for building a world-class enterprise. Only by fully unleashing the integration efficiency of the real economy and the digital economy, promoting revolutionary breakthroughs in technology, innovative allocation of production factors, and deep industrial transformation and upgrading, and comprehensively building "Digital Intelligence China Petroleum", can we better serve as the "pillar" of national energy security, the "national team" of high-level technological self-reliance, and the "leader" of modern energy and chemical industries.

Dai Houliang emphasized that the four enterprises should leverage their respective strengths, strengthen cooperation and complement each other's strengths, focus on the characteristics of China's petroleum industry, identify the entry points and breakthroughs for the development of artificial intelligence, refine the target path, work together to create the Kunlun Big Model with energy and chemical industry characteristics and reflect the technical characteristics of the big model, accelerate the upgrading of the innovation chain throughout the production and operation process, and jointly promote the good and fast development of the artificial intelligence industry. To anchor goals, strengthen integrated planning, adhere to the "six unifications" of planning, standards, design, investment, construction, and management, and promote the "Five Ones" action in accordance with the concepts of business driven, technology led, system layout, and open sharing. We should highlight the scenario driven approach, actively promote the application of large model technology in more scenarios such as oil and gas exploration and development, refining and chemical industry, and new energy, and accelerate the construction of an intelligent economic form that is data-driven, human-machine collaboration, cross-border integration, and co creation and sharing. We will focus on cultivating a group of composite high-end talents who integrate artificial intelligence theory, technology, and the application of the energy and chemical industry through the construction of the Kunlun Model, build a group of high-level innovation teams, and accelerate the formation of sustained innovation capabilities in artificial intelligence.
